Why can't I login to my cpanel or webmail?

Many office buildings as well as hotels have a firewall setup to block access to the ports required for cpanel, WHM, and webmail from loading. These ports are 2086 and 2087. You will need to contact their tech support to remove these blocks from their firewall.

Where do I go to login to my control panel?

Go to http://www.yourdomain.com/cpanel or http://yourIPaddress/cpanel

Here's a manual for cPanel, with all the instruction you'll need to manage your website.

How to Grow Your Opt-In List

Opt-in email contacts are by far the most productive of contacts. They're far more likely to open your emails, and if targeted properly also more likely to click through. This of course means more traffic, but more importantly higher conversion (more sales!). Here are some effective ways to grow your email opt-in list(s).

Preventing Bounces With Your Email Marketing Lists

One of the biggest concerns with email marketers is deliverability. Not only do we want to get through to people, but we want to stay off of blacklists. There are two major reasons for being blacklisted are 1) too many spam complaints, and 2) a high bounce rate. High bounce rates means that you don't know your 'customers' well, a good indication of spamming. So this article is how to prevent high bounce rates.

What is the difference between shared ssl and private ssl?

A shared ssl displays as https//ip/~yourusername/ A private ssl would display as https://www.yourdomain.com in the address bar.

With a shared ssl, visitors will receive a warning message, and will be asked to accept the shared certificate. If this is unacceptable you'll want to purchase a private SSL.

How do I change my DNS?

Every registar has a different procedure for changing your domains DNS, however they are all done basically the same way. Log in to your registrar to manage your domain(s), and you'll see the area where you can modify the DNS (Domain Name Servers).

Can I view my site even though my domain's name servers haven't propagated yet?

Yes, the address will be: http://youriphere/~yourusername/

Your ip is located in your welcome email. Please also don't forget the ~ or the trailing /

What do I set my domains name servers (DNS) to?

Please read your welcome e-mail. Whatever name servers are listed in your welcome email will be the ones to use for all of the sites you choose to host out of your account.

If you have lost your welcome email you can email support for your server's dns.
